How can I become a member?

To become a member, simply fill out the application form, and hand deliver it along with the membership fee (check payable to SCPD Art Club) to the Art Club Mailbox located below the bulletin board in the Art Studio. You may also mail it to:

The Art Studio is located near the Post Office in the Mountain View Clubhouse, Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email with further details about your membership and upcoming events.

Are there any age restrictions for membership?

No, our art club welcomes all residents of Sun City Palm Desert. We have members from all walks of life, fostering a diverse community of artists.

What is the membership fee?

The membership fee is $30 per year, which helps support club activities, events, and resources for our members. This fee ensures you have access to all club benefits and resources throughout the year. You may also rent a locker (subject to availability) for and additional fee of $15 per year.

Can I attend events without being a member?

While some events are exclusive to members, we do offer a few open events throughout the year where non-members can participate, such as our “Sip and Paint Night” event for a small fee. However, we encourage joining the club to fully enjoy all the benefits and opportunities available.
