Art Hanging and Wine and Cheese Social – March 7th
Our next hanging and Wine and Cheese Social will be this Saturday, March 7th. Deliver your art works to the art room between 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. for hanging. Then, celebrate the art at the Wine and Cheese Social that evening from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Bring an appetizer to share. Your guests are welcome. The art club will provide the wine. Please pick up your currently hanging art work on Friday, March 6th after 1:00 p.m. or on Saturday, March 7th by 9:30 a.m.

March 10th General Meeting – Board Elections and Pizza Lunch – Please Plan to Attend. Come to our last General Meeting of the season on Tuesday, March 10th at 12:30 p.m. in the San Gorgonio/San Jacinto rooms. Elections of next year’s board members will be held and it is
critical that we have a quorum. Please plan to attend! A pizza lunch will be served.

Spring Arts and Crafts Show – Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, 2026, 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m
– Entry forms will be available on the art room front table beginning Monday, March 9, 2026
– Friday, March 20, 2026 Entry forms due. Collection box on front table. Please do not disturb classes. No late forms will be accepted.
– Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27, 2026 Studio is closed to all classes and personal work (no exceptions).
– Wednesday, March 25, 2026 – 8:00 AM-10:00 AM
Check-in of artwork. All information on the forms must be printed, completed in full and turned in with the artwork. Forms are found on the Art Club website and in the Studio. The Studio will be locked at 10 AM (no exceptions). No access to the Studio during hanging. Participating
members must work 2 hours during the sale. The volunteer signup sheet will be in the Studio.

Upcoming March and April Workshops – Workshops fill up quickly, so sign up early!

Learn to Use Soft Pastels with Chris Acosta – March 2 and 3, 1:00-4:00 p.m. (workshop is full)

Further Exploring Colored Pencils with Judi Peterson – March 14, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. This workshop is for art club members who have taken Judi’s colored pencil workshops previously and would like to continue their colored pencil journey. Sign-up sheet is currently on the front table
in the art studio.

Painting Powerful Landscapes with Marilyn Froggatt – April 7 and April 14, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. All mediums are welcome! Marilyn will cover the following landscape concepts: color and shape to create mood and atmosphere, depth and perspective, creating a focal point and balancing the painting. Sign-up sheet will be on the front table of the art studio on March 7th.
